Using AI to make presentations: a real example
Does a presentation scare you? Blank page, no ideas, no time. AI walks you from start to finish. Here I show you a real, complete case. Follow it and copy it onto your own topic.
The case: a presentation in 5 slides
Say you have to pitch a new app for gyms to your boss. You have ten minutes. Let's start from scratch, together.
Step 1: the structure
First the outline, not the details. Ask:
- "Make me the outline of a 5-slide presentation to pitch a new gym app to my boss. One line per slide."
AI gives you: problem, solution, how it works, costs, next steps. Perfect order.
Step 2: the text for each slide
Now fill one slide at a time. For slide 1:
- "Write the text for the 'problem' slide. Max 3 short bullets, punchy sentences, no big words."
Repeat for each slide. In a few minutes you have all the content.
Step 3: the title that grabs
The title matters most of all. Ask for options:
- "Give me 5 strong titles for this presentation, short and intriguing."
Pick the one that makes you say "wow".
Step 4: the speaker notes
Slides have little text, but you have to talk. Ask for help:
- "Write what I should say out loud for the 'solution' slide, confident and simple tone, about 30 seconds."
Step 5: prepare for questions
Your boss will ask hard questions. Train beforehand:
- "What are the 3 toughest questions my boss could ask me about this app? Also give me a short answer for each."
You show up ready, no surprises.
